The DMT FlowMeter – 162FM enables fast, calibrated measurement of ultra-low liquid flow through intact tubular preparations such as arteries, veins and small ducts under dual pressure control. When combined with a compatible DMT pressure myograph and MyoVIEW, it connects vessel-diameter changes with real-time flow, shear stress and vascular resistance.
Vessel diameter alone does not always describe the complete functional response. The 162FM adds a direct flow measurement that can be interpreted together with pressure, vessel dimensions and experimental interventions.
