Advancing Vascular Research WorldwideAt Danish Myo Technology (DMT), we are driven by a single mission… to empower scientists with the most precise and reliable tools for studying vascular and smooth muscle physiology. For over four decades, we have combined innovation, engineering excellence, and scientific insight to create solutions that push the boundaries of microvascular research.
Our StoryDMT’s roots trace back to the late 1970s, when pioneering researchers Dr. Michael John Mulvany and Dr. William Halpern introduced a groundbreaking in vitro technique for studying small resistance arteries. This innovation led to the development of the first myograph system, designed in collaboration with toolmaker John Pedersen. Today, that legacy continues as we deliver advanced systems trusted by researchers in more than 1,000 universities and institutions across 79 countries, contributing to over 20,000 peer-reviewed publications.
