In isolated heart research, small changes in perfusion conditions can have a meaningful impact on experimental outcomes.

Maintaining stable flow, pressure, temperature and oxygenation helps create the controlled environment needed for consistent cardiac function measurements and reproducible results.

That's why controlled perfusion is one of the foundations of effective Langendorff experiments.
