Myography permits the investigation of small artery function in a vast variety of ways; including isometric force development and myogenic tone. The aim of the DMT Myograph Course is to introduce the participants to the basic principles involved in small vessel myography, such as the important experimental techniques and equipment used. The course is composed of morning sessions that include a series of informative talks and discussions followed by afternoon sessions, which emphasize the development of hands-on experience. Participants learn to dissect arteries and mount in both the pressure and wire myograph systems.

The goal is that by the end of the five-day course, the participants are equipped with the skills necessary to begin myograph experiments in their own laboratories.
The 5-day course will be held twice a year in Denmark at DMT in Aarhus.
Next course: Fall 2010
