This pressure myograph chamber is designed for studies of biochemical or morphological where rapid freezing of the vessel is required. The 115FP allows for the rapid (<1s) freezing or fixation of the intact pressurized vessel. In certain experiments it may be necessary to instantly freeze the vessel in its reactive pressurized state to enable biochemical or molecular biological measurements. The pressurized state may also be fixed and preserved for morphological or immunofluorescence measurements of structural proteins.

High-quality precision research instrument, reliable and easy to control
Ideal for rapid freezing or fixation of vessel segments for biochemical or morphological assays after the functional experiment
Study the structure and function of small vessels from >60μm with the ability to rapidly freeze/fix the vessel in the pressurized state
Features a special chamber made of POM inert to facilitate low temperatures and fixatives
Built-in heating, ideal for pharmacological reactivity work requiring the ability to do cumulative CRC's |

The experimental chamber is made of stainless steel. A window at the base of the chamber allows the vessel dimensions to be monitored for analysis.

The adjoining chamber, which is removable, is used for freezing or adding other fixing solutions. By raising the segment holder and thus the vessel and its tubing, the chamber stage can be moved to the side and into the preparation chamber for rapid or instant freezing. This process can be done in less than a second.

This chamber can be obtained as a complete set-up, similar to the 110P, or as an add-on to the 110P hardware.
